Red Carpet Favourite Marchesa Set To Collaborate With Revlon For Beauty Line

A look from the Marchesa A/W 2012 collection Reflected in Revlon's Nail Wraps

The A-lister’s favourite red carpet fashion label, Marchesa, has just announced that it will be collaborating with cosmetic giant Revlon to create a collection of products which perfectly reflect that fashion fantasy look the brand has become so well known for. With nail polish, lip and eye products, nail art, and beauty tools (we are presuming patterned emery boards and jewelled tweezers) all in the works, you will soon be able to have a touch of Marchesa in your make-up bag.

We are particularly intrigued about the potential for fashion inspired nail art – with removable nails painted with patterns directly from the runway. The concept got us thinking about all the other Marchesa dresses we’d love to see as nail art. A/W 2013’s red satin dress embroidered with gold thread would make for the perfect Christmas nails with a regal feel whereas the black and cream lace dress that Kristen Stewart wore to the Snow White and the Huntsman premiere could make for some pretty cool gothic talons.

We are also hoping to see a new red carpet trend of matchy, matchy nails and dresses to give the look proper head to toe impact. With celebrity fans including Anne Hathaway, Emma Watson & Lively, Marchesa definitely has the star power to launch the look for the new season. With eight nail wraps available later this year, you too soon could be getting in on the fashion/nail action! Click through to see our favourite nail art ready dresses from Marchesa...
