1. Ashish Show

My very first experience of fashion week was performing at the Ashish show in 2008. Ashish is a fantastic person and wonderful designer. I was all bout pom poms and leopard skin shoes.

2. Meeting Vivienne Westwood

I remember meeting Vivienne West wood. She asked me to walk for her show in 2010. It was very scary having to walk amongst a number of other models who did this for a living. I am a musician. It was interesting to see how it all worked. I never made the final but it was amazing to watch her work.

3. Walking For Naomi Campbell

I was involved in the Naomi Campbell charity fashion show and remember walking down the runway. I met Naomi and she was really sweet and pleasant. Tyson Beckford had a rail of clothes next to mine and I remember thinking he wasn't as hot as I thought he might be. Cheeky but true.

4. Stella McCartney

Going to Paris and seeing the Stella McCartney show was grand and surreal. The Opera house in Paris was breathtaking with its gold surroundings and Edwardian finishing, with these amazing black dresses and Chiffon cut outs. This was in 2010. That was my fav collection of that year.

5. Performing at PPQ

2012 was a great time. I performed at the PPQ after party. I played my brand new material. It was interesting to play to a Fashion crowd. Fashion crowds are tough, but the vibrations were warm and Marina from Marina and the Diamonds and Kate Nash were all so encouraging.

6. Meeting Designer Sarapol

I usually get really uncomfortable at fashion week, despite my love for the art of it. All the fash packs are out doing there thing, and it all feels a bit like school at times, but sitting next to Sarapol (Designer) at one particular show and having the most lovliest chat with him was one of the nicest front row chats ever. I usually feel I'm not cool or popular enough to talk to anyone. He was so nice. He is an incredible designer and a beautiful person.

7. VVVintage Showcase

We showcased VVVintage at London fashion week for the first time. That was exciting. We were part of the hustle and bustle from behind the scenes of fashion week and since then VVVintage has grown into a successful business. We are now selling in Top Shop over fashion week this year.

8. Graduate Fashion Shows

I’m a sucker for the Central St Martins Show or Graduate shows and last years was incredible. It was the best show of 2012 for me, better than any of the professional more established designers. They are my fave out of them all ! They take risks and it feels more expressive.

9. Saloni Set Design

My boyfriend (Jotta creative agency) and a good friend of ours Emma Price did the set design for the designer Saloni. I was proud to see his work. He always inspires me wit his projects art direction.

10. The Mulberry Show

Mulberry. Dogs down the run way and a fabulous elderly lady, most probably 90, holding a dog as she watched stunning women strut. Mulberry have the most elegant shows. Dogs, Bags, elegance, welcome to London Fashion Week.

The talented VV Brown, aka Vanessa Brown, is no stranger to the London Fashion Week scene. The Musician turned model has given highly anticipated performances at both Ashish and PPQ, whilst turning her hand to modeling and cascading down the catwalk for none other than Naomi Campbell and Vivienne Westwood.
