Haven’t We Seen That Fishnet Frock Before? Kate Moss Re-Wears Mesh Dress To Riccardo Tisci's Birthday Party

Before Kate Middleton’s thrifty wardrobe ways become such a thing, ‘twas always another Kate who knew how to rework her wardrobe with ninja-like skill. A peasant blouse here, velvet gown there… Mossy is the most economical shopper and dresser of them all and her expertise came to light once again at Riccardo Tisci’s epic 40th birthday bash in Ibiza this weekend.

Upstaging everyone (but, of course) in a fishnet gown with nothing but a cheeky turquoise bikini underneath, we felt sure we’d seen that see-through floor-sweeper before. And we had. GraziaDaily never forgets a frock and this one was from 2011; the British Fashion Awards to be exact.

Three years ago La Moss fashioned this slinky net number with a nude slip and red lipstick, then a shaggy black coat for making a suitably grand entrance and exit. With it’s weighted hem she swished along the event’s royal blue carpet like a punk goddess but last night it was transformed into something very worthy of a hot (in both the literal and sexy sense) evening in the Balearic hotspot.

Now that Mossy is stationed in ‘Beefa, will we see more of her famously constructed holiday wardrobe? Last year was a triumphant one, with more vacay outfits created from one suitcase over a series of weeks than we ever thought possible. If anyone knows about signature style – and not being afraid to reuse it – it’s Kate the Great.
