Lulu Kennedy MBE is founder of Fashion East and MAN. In conversation with journalist and fashionista, Angela Buttolph, Lulu spoke about her career in fashion and her super-cool clothing label, Lulu & Co. Fashion East was launched in 2000, and has gone from strength to strength ever since; 'we've become a bit of an institution' as Lulu puts it.
On her brand, Lulu & Co and who her Lulu & Co, which Lulu launched 'by mistake' - woman is 'a bit of a fashion girl, a bit of a tomboy but someone who does like to dress up for a party though. A fashion girl off duty, if you will'.
On being a fashion talent-spotter; 'We started out because we were aware of all these incredibly talented, amazing designers in London who just needed a bit of help getting started.
