How fantabulous! The young stars of Hollywood were dressed to the nines last night as the People’s Choice Awards took place in LA, paying tribute to the best in music, movie and telly. Taylor Swift was the embodiment of sweet revenge as she rocked up to the red carpet in a floor-sweeping ivory gown by Ralph Lauren - take that Harry! - while Chloe Moretz embraced the neon trend in a fab frock by our very own Simone Rocha, accessorised with Smythson's box clutch and black heels by Casadei.
Our prayers were answered when Emma Watson appeared also wearing a London Fashion Week brand - her tri-colour look with cut-out details comes from Peter Pilotto's Spring Summer 2013 collection. It was only yesterday that Emma's stylist was telling us about dressing the young actress, asserting that this is one lady who can 'pull off everything from classic and vintage to really edgy and she still keeps everything looking incredibly fashion forward'. Well, the proof is in the pudding.
Kaley Cuoco was the hostess with the mostess
Hollywood heavyweight Naomi Watts also popped by and looked fab in an Alexander McQueen gown featuring a gold sequin mesh front while Heidi Klum provided the model credentials in a Julien Macdonald gown. Yup, it was a good night for our Brit-based designers. Meanwhile, actress Kaley Cuoco was the hostess with the mostess and pulled on numerous ensembles to give the attendees a run for their sartorial money.
As for the big winners, Miss Watson may not have bagged a BAFTA nomination but she did pick up the award for best dramatic actress. Huzzah! The adorable Katy Perry scooped three awards while Jennifer Lawrence, wearing Valentino Couture, won favorite movie actress as well as, err, 'face of heroism.' In fact, The Hunger Games was the top victor on the night, scooping no less than five trophies.
