#Grazia10: Roland Mouret’s Iconic Galaxy Dress Is Ten Years Old Too!

If there's one dress that's defined the decade it's the iconic Galaxy dress by Roland Mouret. First debuted in 2005 (like us!), it took the world by storm, inspiring not just the A-list but women everywhere to embrace our ladylike curves. The Galaxy features in pride of place on our timeline at #Grazia10, our two week tenth birthday exhibition and series of TENtalks based at London's esteemed Getty Images Gallery (get all the info here).

#Grazia10 gives visitors (ie you!) the chance to walk through a fun interactive timeline of all the key fashion, news and cultural events of the last 10 years. And no timeline would be complete without the Galaxy, which has been worn by everyone from Victoria Beckham, Cameron Diaz, Dita Von Teese, Keira Knightley and Miranda Kerr. To mark this milestone Mr Mouret has let us into the Galaxy's secret, dissecting each section of the dress so you can see its miracle curve-creating properties. And, looking back, what does Roland think has changed in the decade since the Galaxy first launched? 'The past 10 years have seen some of the most momentous and ground breaking work from the industry," Roland exclusively told Grazia Daily. "As designers, we have moved away from the standards of Couture in the 50's to completely revolutionise the way people dress, shop, and think." And as for his predictions for the next ten years? "The digital age is about to completely break every fashion rule made to date, and the past may in fact become unrecognisable."
