As Cheryl Lynn's 'Got To Be Real' rang out, girls with too-short fringes bopped down Sibling's catwalk in red patent stilettos over lilac socks with go faster stripes. Cardi and skirt twinsets came in pastel stripes and lurex, punctuated with flecks of leopard that grew into full blown sequinned animal print.
And then came the latex. Latex minidresses, duster coats and skirts with lace-up side seams that creaked as they moved. A more-is-more ruffled, tiered latex rain coat, with lilac trim.
The show was upbeat, poppy, colourful. After their final walk, the models congregated at the top of the catwalk to dance - even the girl who'd lost a red stiletto halfway down- as the creative directors Cozette McCreery and Sid Bryan came out to take a bow. It was their first as a pair, after the death of Joe Bates last month, and this show was a celebration of the brand that he helped to build, in all its triumphant colours.
