With Tower Bridge lit up by a glorious early morning autumn sun and peeking through the curved glass exterior of City Hall, the start to Preen's show couldn't have felt more connected to London if it tried. Then followed the kind of alternatively played floral and frills and flesh that only a British girl could style out with such a laid back attitude. Flat school-girlish shoes and a mastery of asymmetry put a twist on these tried and tested ideas. Here's what you'll want to buy for spring/summer 2016...

Pink ditsy florals: The show's opening looks were nothing short of pretty. But there was an edge to the pale blush, mini blooms and frilled trims - cheeky peeks of skin and uneven hemlines added oomph.

Gingham coat: In fact, any of the monochrome gingham pieces would be nice. But there was something about the loose fit and wrap around O-ring buckle that gave this one piece the advantage for its originality.

White bondage shirt: The FROW would be nothing right now without access to great shirting, so the strapped and frilled button up will be popular, no doubt.

Graphic Leo prints: Cut across with geomteric lines and black bands of fabric, there was nothing traditional about these animalier frocks. A top trans-seasonal option.

Sunglasses: Bat wing cat-eyes in primary shades - what's not to love about these extra chunky frames?
