She’s best known for her presenting skills but now TV Laura Whitmore can add modelling to CV too. Irish Laura, 29, looked quite the part when she walked for designer Bora Aksu during London Fashion Week in February. We spoke to her about her stint on the catwalk, her style and why she only takes 20 minutes in the morning to get ready!

1. What was it like walking for Bora Aksu?

It was so surreal. Bora is a friend and I've loved his designs for years so to be able to close his show was an honour.

2. Were you nervous?

****I was very nervous. I thought I was going to have a 'Carrie Bradshaw' moment and fall over - or can we call that a Madonna moment now?

3. Would you like to do more modelling?

I used to model when I was younger but to be honest I don't have the patience. Those girls work so hard and being backstage I got to see first-hand the stress and hard work that goes into it all.

4. How would you describe your style?

****I have an eclectic style. It's important to dress for yourself and no one else. I love experimenting with clothes.

5. Whose style inspires you and why?

****People who take risks and know what works for them. I love Daisy Lowe, Olivia Palermo and Chloe Sevigny. I'm pretty obsessed with the Olsen twin's style too.

6. Who are your favourite designers?

Bora Aksu, Fyodor Golan, Joanne Hynes, Felder Felder and Giles Deacon are probably my favourites but I like trying a mixture of designers.

7. What are your favourite high street shops?

I grew up with Urban Outfitters and I love Topshop.

8. What’s your beauty regime like?

'Take your make up off' is what my mam use to say! And 'cleanse, tone and moisturise'. I really love Murad and Ren products. And Rodial have a great skincare range too.

9. What products can’t you live without?

****Estée Lauder do great foundations and lip colours. I love Armani and Diorskin too for base and primers. Moroccan hair oil is my life saver

10. How long do you take in the mornings to get ready?

I'm not a morning person so I'm quite good at doing it quick if it gives me longer in bed! 20-30 mins is how long it usually takes me.
