Norwich: not the top destination you'd think of when it comes to fashion, but this weekend the glam squad from Next models and Bank fashion ventured to this city for Sundown Festival. The sun stayed up all weekend, which was some kind of a consolation for the fact that we had brought the wrong size tent. We had dreams of a spacious slumber, but thanks to an error in calculation we were 3 models spooning in a 1 man tent.
When we weren't squeezed into our temporary polyester home, we were extremely busy drinking Hooch in the backstage bar and joining in with an army of ravers shuffling to the beats of Skepta, Wiley, DJ Fresh and Naughty boy. Rinse FM also staged their own dance tent at Sundown, which had a line up of house DJs, producers and grime artists. On Saturday night the main stage surrendered to headliner Example, who impelled every festival frolicker to jump up and down wildly, whether they were cider-fuelled or not.
An unhealthy amount of burgers, gallon of neon paint and thousand of gnat bitten bottoms later, Sundown came to an end, leaving us all in anticipation of next year's festival antics. Let's hope we bring the right size tent. Check out our festival diary in the gallery above...
