Last month Harrods brought together eight of the world's most powerful fashion bloggers, for a special photoshoot dubbed the 'Digital Style Summit.' We have teamed up with each of the girls to bring you their styling masterclass and Shopping Fix for the season. First Carolina Engman from Fashion Squad showed you how to fake it as a Scandi, and this time we're turning to Marie from Blame It On Fashion for her fashion know how.
Marie is originally from Copenhagen and after a few years living in LA, is now a London resident. We talked to Marie about her advice for setting up a blog, her favourite haunts in London and, of course, her style tips. The former fashion editor knows her shoes - plus she is the queen of the shoe-fie - so we enlisted Marie to share her Spring Summer 2014 shoe wishlist...
Grazia Daily: How long have you been blogging for?
'I started blogging back in 2009 with a friend of mine and then in 2011 I launched Blameitonfashion.com.”
Grazia Daily: What advice do you have for anyone starting a blog?
'If you haven’t got a boyfriend already, go get one. And a great camera too. It’ll make your life as a blogger easier as you will need someone to shoot your outfits. Also think about what you have to offer that’s not already there. What will make your blog stand out from the rest?'
Grazia Daily: How long have you been blogging as a career?
'I used to work as a junior fashion editor at a magazine in Copenhagen, but when my boyfriend got a job offer in Los Angeles I left my job and went with him. That was when I started the blog and it actually became my full-time job from day one.'
Grazia Daily: What is your favourite thing about London style? Has your style changed since living here?
'I love how Londoners wear both colours and prints so well. We Scandinavians could learn from that. Now that it’s been three years since I moved abroad I actually don’t think my style has changed that much. It’s still super simple and scandi-chic – though maybe with a few more heels and prints.'
Grazia Daily: Which are your favourite pair of shoes ever?
'I recently got myself a pair of black ankle boots by Gianvito Rossi. They’re everything.'
Grazia Daily: Which are your favourite styles of shoes for Spring?
'Definitely the mule. They elongate the legs and looks great with everything from boyfriend jeans to feminine midi-skirt.'
Grazia Daily: How many pairs of shoes do you own?

Grazia Daily: We love your shoe Instagrams – how do you take the perfect shoe-fie?
'Taking a shoe-fie can be super tricky to do by yourself so I’ll have to admit that most times I get someone else to do it. One thing to remember is to remove dirt before you shoot.'
Grazia Daily: What are your favourite restaurants and bars in London?
'I live and work in Notting Hill so you’ll often find me at Electric Diner at Portobello Road or Daylesford at Westbourne Grove. When I head East I love Bistroteque.'
