Gwyneth Paltrow Plays 'The Writer' In First Look Of Her Max Factor Campaign

12 November 2012 by

Back in September we reported that Gwyneth Paltrow was starring in a Max Factor beauty campaign and now we have a sneak peak of the first look from her campaign and yep, she looks better than ever.

The campaign has seven looks, each reflecting a different aspect of Gwyneth and there are LOTS of aspects to Gwyn's goop-tastic life. She has one Oscar, one cookery book, one uber successful blog, two children, a rockstar husband and hundreds of leading lady roles.

As Pat McGrath, Max Factor’s Global Creative Design Director explains: “I tasked eleven of our national make-up artists to create three glamour statements for Gwyneth. These were to be inspired by her life and the different roles she has to play – model, actress, mother, singer...” Gwynnie will play seven of these different characters throughout the year-long campaign.

For the first look Gwyneth plays 'The Writer' and she explains in the video: "The writer persona is kind of me going into town for a lunch in London, a meeting or going to a friend's house for dinner. It’s me when I’m most myself, doing something creative. Having a look that says confidence, creativity, but is still very much who I am."

Gwyn 'The Writer' looks simple but glamorous in a white tuxedo blazer, with loose waves, and natural makeup. Grazia favourite, Max Factor makeup artist Mel Arter said: "This is a great look for a work environment because I don’t think you ever want anything to take over too much, so the point here is to lightly define features."
