Honestly, Kate Moss! She spends a three-decade spanning fashion career keeping firmly stum, and then all of a sudden brilliantly enlightening quotes come flying out her mouth as if she's opened Pandora's Box. Not that we're complaining. Last week Kate revealed in an interview with Vanity Fair how she suffered a breakdown at 17 as a result of the pressures of modelling and that she spent years crying following the breakdown of her romance with actor Johnny Depp. Now in a weekend piece in the New York Times pegged on her new coffee-table book, Kate, the Croydon Clotheshorse dished on her peers, supermodels Raquel Zimmermann, Lara Stone and Christy Turlington.

La Moss was full of admiration for Brazilian beauty Zimmermann, who she considers extremely versatile, and of Dutch delight Lara Stone she said, “I think she’s very hot, with her boobs and her teeth." Although apparently Kate's hubby, Kills rocker Jamie Hince doesn't agree as the mother-of-one confessed Stone is “not his cup of tea.” It was original supermodel Christy Turlington for whom her verdict was more ambiguous. Kate said, “The last time I saw Christy, she was wearing a twin-set," before adding “You can think twin-set, but you can't wear one." We're not really sure what "you can think twin-set" means exactly but it's clear she isn't too keen on Christy's sartorial preferences.
Let's hope there's plenty more Moss magic where that came from. Who better to give us the goss on what the modelling world is really like?
