Caggie Dunlop On Christmas Party Dresses And Swapping Clothes With Millie Mackintosh

INTERVIEW: Caggie Dunlop on her party season style...

Anyone else who has felt a Caggie Dunlop shaped hole in Made In Chelsea since the blonde beauty left the show at the end of season two will be pleased to hear that this year she's the face of Lipsy's Christmas party collection. Joining her bessie Millie Mackintosh as a model for the brand, Caggie is chic and polished as she showcases the range which includes leather look trousers, embroidered tops and faux fur jackets. We caught up with the former Chelsea girl to discover her festive style tips and what's next on her to do list...

Grazia Daily: What do you think makes the perfect Christmas dress?

Caggie Dunlop: Something show stopping with lots of sparkle, I also really like red crushed velvet.

Grazia Daily: Do you remember your first ever party dress?

Caggie Dunlop: I remember the first ever party dress that I wanted. It was very frilly and girly but my mum wouldn’t let me get it. She said it was far too expensive.

Grazia Daily: What do you do for Christmas?

Caggie Dunlop: If I'm in the country I'll have a big get together with either my mum or dad and all my cousins and usually end up getting pissed, but I also really like to go away. Last year I spent Christmas in Australia with Proudlock and it was one of my favourite Christmases.

Grazia Daily: What are your top trends for this season?

Caggie Dunlop: For me it's all about turtle necks, they are all I want at the minute. They're casual but stylish at the same time. I also love anything in either beige or camel and I'm really into embellished suits for evening wear.

Grazia Daily: What is your favourite dress you've worn and what do you look for in a dress?

Caggie Dunlop: My favourite dress I have ever worn was from Austique. It was white with crystal shoulder straps. It was stunning. For me a good dress needs to be flattering to your shape and make you stand out from the crowd.

Grazia Daily: What are your festive fashion staples?

Caggie Dunlop: My long beige fur collared coat, it's my favourite, although I try and wear it as much as I can through out the year as well. I also love big baggy boyfriend jumpers.

Grazia Daily: Would you ever go back on Made In Chelsea – for a Christmas special?!

Caggie Dunlop: Never say never, but for now, probably not.

Grazia Daily: Do you still watch the show?

Caggie Dunlop: I try to when I can. I didn’t watch lasts weeks though.

Grazia Daily: What are your beauty secrets and products can't you live without?

Caggie Dunlop: Eight hour cream by Elizabeth Arden and Hoola by benefit are my two must haves. I swear by a good clay mask. Always take your make up off before you go to bed and look after your eyebrows.

Grazia Daily: Do you have any fashion rules?

Caggie Dunlop: Dress however you feel. There are no rules!

Grazia Daily: Would you like to get into modelling?

Caggie Dunlop: Focusing on my music is my main priority at the minute. But I am currently working with Models 1 so I would like the two to coincide together somehow.

Grazia Daily: Are you going to release an album? What can we expect from it?

Caggie Dunlop: I'm going to get an EP out there to gage a reaction initially. A lot of it is quite dark with electronic elements. Hopefully people will be surprised but it's always evolving.

Grazia Daily: Are you a high street girl or a designer girl?

Caggie Dunlop: I'm a bit of both, mainly high street but I like to mix it up.

Grazia Daily: Do you and Millie ever swap clothes?

Caggie Dunlop: We used to swap clothes, especially when we were travelling together, usually wearing as little as possible. It was quite ridiculous. She gave me a me a pair of wedged trainers recently that she didn’t want which was nice.
