The Secret Tea Party: The Secret Tea Party is exactly that – a secret, so shhh... They host pop-up tea rooms and vintage afternoons in locations all over Bath, complete with tea, cake and mini makeovers. I managed to scout out one of their pop-up events last weekend, and it was achingly sweet. What more could you want than tea and cupcakes served on gorgeous vintage crockery to add a bit of glamour to your afternoon? You can even book for special events like birthday’s and hen parties.

The Fudge Kitchen: Possibly one of the most charming shops in Bath. The Fudge Kitchen offers a plethora of absolutely incredible flavours, but what makes this place extra special is that you can watch the fudge being made right before your eyes! Free samples are readily available, and it is, without a doubt, the best fudge I have ever tried in my life. Chocolate caramel and maple walnut are my personal favourites! Fudge will never be the same again.

Green Park Station: This space plays host to a variety of different markets every month, from fashion, to vintage, to artisan. One weekend you’ll be able to pick up an amazing vintage dress, the next some beautiful shabby chic home ware, and the next delicious French macaroons! It’s the perfect place to while away a Sunday afternoon. Different events are listed online but it’s equally fun just to turn up at the weekend and see what’s going on!

The Cosy Club: Right in the heart of Southgate shopping centre, The Cosy Club is the perfect place to escape from the masses and unwind. The decor is a fabulous mash up of antique chandeliers, vintage lampshades and mismatched furniture. Whether you’re looking for brunch, tapas, afternoon tea or cocktails it’s the most stylish retreat you could ask for –  and chock full of quirky charm!

The Tea House Emporium: It should be at the top of any tea lovers to-do list. Upstairs, a beautiful shop crammed with delicious loose leaves, tea flowers and other goodies. Downstairs, an aromatic underground tea room with a lovely chilled out atmosphere. My favourite is their strawberries and cream tea (perfect with milk and sugar!) although their cinnamon - apple is the ideal autumn brew! Look for the black kettle hanging outside and you’ve found it!
