As Kylie Minogue Launches Her Fashion Book, Let's Remember Her Greatest Style Moments From Hot Pants To Headdresses

30 October 2012 by

Gold hot pants, a hooded white jumpsuit and Dolce & Gabbana galore - Kylie Minogue has treated us to a hoard of iconic fashion moments during her illustrious music career. So we're understandably delighted to hear that the pint-sized popstrel is set to release a book celebrating the key fashion moments from her 25 years in the biz.

'Kylie/Fashion', a glossy coffee table tome, has been curated by Kylie's long-time creative director, William Baker, and features an introduction written by none other than Jean Paul Gaultier, who has frequently dressed the 44-year-old. In fact, a whole flock of her designer besties - we're talking everyone from the Dolce & Gabbana boys and Christopher Kane to Giles Deacon and Christian Louboutin - have been called upon to comment on the Australian's style hits.

'This book charts my relationship with some of the most talented people in fashion throughout my career,' says Ms Minogue. 'It makes me very proud to see gathered together all the great designers and houses I've worked with over the years. Looking through my personal archives has been a real trip down memory lane and it is the fashion that brings back moments and memories of the last twenty-five years.'

Indeed, Grazia Daily has had quite the trip sifting through our own Kylie archive to uncover some truly eye-popping snaps. From those heady days in Neighbours alongside Jason Donovan to her perm-tastic 'I Should Be So Lucky' video to the many times she's flashed her pert derriere in a glitzy gown, Kylie's been on quite the sartorial ride.

Her on-stage outfits have been just as spellbinding - remember the Dolce & Gabbana pieces she wore for her 2011 'Aphrodite' tour? And the frothy Showgirl creations she donned in 2006 for her return to the stage after recovering from cancer.

'Kylie/Fashion' is part of the singer's 'K25' anniversary celebrations so let's get the party started by donning our sequins, hitting play on 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' and taking a trip down memory lane via the gallery above.

Kylie/Fashion is released on November 19, published by Thames & Hudson
