Marios Schwab 'Delighted' With Naomie Harris' Skyfall Premiere Dress: PLUS His Celeb Fan Club!

24 October 2012 by

An under-the-radar actress with killer looks to boot, Brit girl Naomie Harris has been a subject of much Grazia admiration over the years, but it was last night’s sheer and be-sequinned Marios Schwab gown the 36 year old actress wore for the red carpet walk of London’s premiere of Bond blockbuster, Skyfall, that cemented her place on our fashion radar. It was certainly a bold choice, and although it’s dividing opinions up and down the country, we’re the kind of fashion team who appreciate a trail blazing choice far more than a safe option.

Naomi Harris chose statement jewellery to match her striking Marios Schwab gown.

So, naughty us, maybe we should’ve noticed the lady sooner, because Naomie – who plays the thinking man’s Bond girl, Eve  – has worn Marios’ jaw-droppingly entrance-making dresses before. And one particular little black dress – an unusual mini frock, with Camilla Skovgaard shoes and a spiky Jordan Askill necklace – caught our attention just a few days ago.  Continuing the Marios love-in, après the risqué Swarovski sequin-encrusted sheer gown (which closed the spring/summer 2012 show), Naomie chose another Schwab frock for the premiere's after party. This second dress was from the same collection, but sportier with its monochrome guipere lace and crystals and athletic racer-front neckline.  "I was delighted to hear while in LA that Naomie had chosen a Marios Schwab dress for the Royal Premiere" Marios said, “She looks effortless in the sequinned evening gown, changing into a Marios Schwab lace cocktail dress for the after party, looking equally stunning. It is amazing to have Marios Schwab pieces worn to such an iconic Premiere in London.”

Naomie isn’t the first A-lister to makes the talents of London Fashion Week’s Marios come alive in the spotlight. Zoe Saldana, Rosamund Pike, Lucy Liu, Blake Lively, Diane Kruger and Kristen Stewart are all part of his international fan club.
