Pudsey Joins The Fash Pack With The Help Of Giles Deacon, Henry Holland And More: Q&A

GALLERY>> Exclusive Designer Q&A for Pudsey 2012

BBC's Children in Need has done a great deal in raising money and efforts for disadvantaged children across the U.K. However, their 2012 Pudsey Designer Collection may just take the cake in combining creativity and inspiration. The collection, launching at Selfridges the 24th of October, houses over thirty, large Pudsey bears created by fashion's top designers.

Launched last year, the collection has reached new heights with an array of infamous designers and creatives. Curated by LOVE editor Katie Grand, it exhibits 5 Balenciaga bears, a Swarovski-encrusted bear by Giles Deacon, Prada, Louis Vuitton, and many others.

While each design is unique and different, and often reflecting the industry's most current fashion trends, the collaboration seamlessly ties together around Pudsey and the BBC's important cause.

In anticipation of the collection, Grazia Daily cuddled up with Katie Grand along with Henry Holland, Patrick Grant and Giles Deacon to talk about these fantastical bears and the project. The childish gleam in their eyes shows the fun they had with the project, and we hope that glow will raise a lot of funds for the Children in Need.

The collection will be exclusively featured in the London and Manchester Selfridges stores from the 24th October to 14th November. You will then have the chance to raise funds for the charity by auctioning on the bears.

As the auction gave massive funds to disenfranchised children last year, we hope even more funds will be raised with the huge team of designers tackling the collection this year.

Trendstop.com (Tue Oct 23 18:04:02 BST 2012): Lovely to see that time and time again, recognised luxury designers are willing to devote their name to a good cause. Granted the time spent on the design is quite unlikely to be their own but that doesn't negate the fact that where names like Katie Grand and Giles Deacon are involved, money is made. Lovely to see Pudsey the Bear rocking his fashion wears for 2012.
