Last Night At The Tim Walker Private View With Helena Bonham Carter, Cara Delevingne And Kate Moss

18 October 2012 by

Last night saw the private view of Tim Walker’s brilliant new photography exhibition Story Teller (sponsored by Mulberry, natch) at Somerset House and golly did some famous faces turn out to support him.

First up was none other than Kate Moss (scream!), Kate arrived with husband Jamie Hince in tow sporting a lovely Willow clutch – launching next year, bag fans. Kate and Jamie worked the room before sneaking off early into the night.

Holding court for the evening was Helena Bonham Carter who we spotted looking a to the mazing in a Vivenne Westwood number. She and hubby Tim Burton marched arm in arm around the gallery trying to decide which of Tim Walker’s fairytale-esque prints they liked the best.

Arriving later in the evening was lady of the moment Cara Delevingne who headed straight for the champers – a woman after our own heart it seems. During the evening we had a chance to chat to Laura Charmichael aka Downton’s Lady Edith who spoke to us exclusively about the death of Lady Sybil in last weeks episode, ‘It was awful for the cast because we have all known that it was coming for so long,’ she said, ‘I feel like I’ve been going through the grieving process this week.’

We spoke to Tim ahead of the launch about what it’s like to work with amazing models like La Moss and Lily Cole. To check out the interview, click here.

What we drank: Chase vodka cocktails and champagne

What we ate: J Sheeky had set up an amazing sea food bar with oysters and prawns
