Vintage style songstress Lana del Rey has been lending her talents to Swedish high street giant H&M this season – we’ve enjoyed her TV advert rendition of Blue Velvet and her pin up, bouffant topped poster campaign, currently plastered up and down the country. In new Lana news, today H&M have released further images from their A/W 2012-13 collection shot by Sølve Sundsbø, all showing the 26 year old singer posing with a classic car and her signature beehive.
Featuring loose knits, faux fur and a posh puffa jacket, all in snowy white, the pieces are perfect for the plummeting temperatures outside. Apart from Lana’s favourite white, we also see her sporting spray-on black leather look jeans and spiky stilettos - talk about fierce.
The Video Games singer has had a stellar year, translating her music success into fashion icon status. Her mash-up of ghetto style and 50s glamour has been wildly influential – a fact that’s not gone unnoticed by fashion brands who have fallen over themselves to get a piece of the Lana magic. From Mulberry who named a best-selling bag ‘The Del Rey’ to the global H&M campaign, Lana is well on her way to becoming a bona-fide fashion darling. So click through and check out the Lana sizzle - its enough to get us reaching for the backcomb.
