It’s The Final Day Of Street Fashion Week! Don't Miss Your Chance To Vote

Now ladies, listen up. Today is the LAST day you can take part in Street Fashion Week, our mission to find the UK’s best dressed city. A couple of weeks ago we visited seven cities – Liverpool, Birmingham, London, Cardiff, Manchester, Leeds and Edinburgh in a bid to find what’s trending where. And, despite gales, rainstorms and all-round autumnal mizzy weather, everyone really pulled out all the style stops! But it’s not down to US to decide which city is the most stylish, we want your vote! By our calculations, at the moment, Cardiff is in the lead, followed verrry closely by Leeds and Liverpool. Birmingham girls are last, LAST! So come onnnnn Birmingham get voting!
Eclectic was the vibe in Cardiff; that means clashing prints, kooky accessories and pops of colour. The cargo jacket also reigns supreme here – it’s that dash of grunge the girls seem to love.
Liverpool’s ladies are channelling a ‘60s vibe with modish shift dresses and pretty pumps. They’re also brightening up the streets with super-strong colours.
We’ve learnt that Birmingham girls know where to invest – so it’s all about classic pieces like a good biker jacket, well-cut jeans and a weather-proof trench coat. It’s knits ahoy, too!
London’s top dressers do casual-cool perfectly – that means plenty of statement jeans, every type of trophy jacket and pitch perfect ankle boots. And the city’s girls aren’t afraid of a marmite shoe either – we spotted plenty of flatforms!
Manchester’s ladies just love a vintage find. From shearling coats to the prettiest dresses, the most stylish in the city always manage to track down something individual. There’s also a strong tartan vibe showing through.
It was pretty chilly when we swooped on Edinburgh, but that wasn’t going to stop the girls from looking stylish. It was a masterclass in coats – tailored, tweedy car coats, zingy brights – and lots of cosy-cool faux fur and leopard print collars.
We noticed that Leeds girls love a jacket – we saw everything from cargo and varsity jackets to tweed blazers and aviators. Prints of the day included tartan (it was everywhere!), camouflage and lots of winter florals.
