She’s the tall, blonde, girlfriend of Kennedy, all singing all dancing beauty, and now Taylor Swift is putting her name to quintessential canvas sneaker brand Keds. The country singer and actress’ wardrobe of late has got the Graziettes very excited, in particular her array of ‘50s pin-up style holiday wear, while summering with boyfriend Conor in Massachusetts this summer. Tomorrow will also reveal the Pennsylvanian born songstress’ first cover of Rolling Stone magazine, where Swift shows off her typical American style wearing a gorgeous oversized varsity jacket – the preppie staple for teenagers all over the States.
We’ve had a sneak peek at Taylor’s first offering as part of her three-year deal with Keds, and in conjuction with the release of her new album Red, she’s designed a limited edition pair of Red Keds with RED stamped across the heel. Swift spoke to WWD today revealing “I’ve been a fan of Keds for years, because they have two of my favourite elements of great style — they’re classic and effortless. I remember wearing Keds as a little kid, while riding my bike around the farm. When I got older, I started wearing them again. There’s something cool about shoes that you can grow up with,”. What a sweet girl…oh, how our TayTay obsession continues!
