Josephine De La Baume and Mark Ronson Celebrate Baroque At The Playboy Club

04 October 2012 by

Ok, so the words ‘Playboy Club’ don’t necessarily conjure up the best images but we’re pleased to say that the newly launched Baroque club is non-to-tacky at all. Opening this week with a massive party attended by Olivia Grant, Mark Ronson and Delilah Baroque is set to bring East London, West. And they’ll probably do a good job of it given that it’s owned by Gerry Calabrese, proprietor of the Hoxton Pony, no less.

DJ Adam Fieck entertained the guests with some vintage tunes including Blondie – we loved watching the suited and booted gentlemen dance their socks off – followed by a performance from Delilah. Whilst we skipped off into the night pretty early we heard that later guests were entertained by Mark Ronson who DJ’d into the early hours. The 37-year-old revealed that he will be playing two gigs in one night this new year with shows in both Melbourne and Sydney. Rather you than us Mark!

What we ate: Lobster Crustini and Tuna Tartar

What we drank: Moet and Chandon

What we loved: Delilah’s Black leather and chiffon Falguni and Shane Peacock dress
