Savannah Miller Unveils Her New Collection & Snaps Up Dree Hemingway For The Debut Campaign!

In this week’s issue of Grazia you’ll find the exclusive reveal on Savannah Miller’s latest fashion adventure. Her perfectly-priced and brand new ‘Savannah’ line will be launching on Nelly.com on October 25 and features 40 pieces of the Miller sisters’ signature rock’n’roll bohemia – fringed waistcoats, studded jeans, slouchy knits – all for under £175.99. “It felt really important for me to explore this price point,” Savannah told us while showing us through the collection, “So many of my friends have lost their jobs over the past few years and a lot of people are hard up, but they all still want to be into fashion.” Refreshing to hear from a designer, right?

“I designed the first collection from Sienna’s loft, because I had to be in London so we moved in together.” Savannah explained, “She’s more involved now because she doesn’t have to be! She’d keep nipping upstairs and say ooh that’s nice, ooh maybe you should do this.” So who did Savannah choose to model this laid-back kind of London-girl cool? Her style icon sis? Nope, it's Savannah's time to break out on her own, so she's cleverely snapped up the cheekbones and chilled vibes of model Dree Hemingway. "I first got to know Dree because when I was working on Twenty8Twelve. She happened to be in London and came along to the studio to help us put the looks together for the collection at the time,” Savannah told us, “So because we were with her solidly for a week, we just became really good mates. And when I thought about casting for this, I knew I had to encapsulate the brand in one picture. We did the shoot in just four hours; she’s so effortless, so cool. Dree’s such a professional. Maybe it’s because at 25 she's also a bit older than many other models. She’s more of a grown woman, not a 6ft teenager.”
