If ever there was a designer having fun with their label, it's Olympia Le-Tan! The handbag and clutch creator turned clothing designer, who debuted her first ready-to-wear collection just last season, showed her Spring/Summer 2013 collection at Paris fashion week on Monday, accompanied by a live performance from Ronnie Spector of '60s hit group The Ronettes, no less.
The retro designer, whose personal style is also inspired by the same era, showed her signature hand embroidered bags with full skirts, shrunken cardies and super short shorts in a wearable collection that is very much a tribute to the '60s era.

But whilst Olympia Le-Tan's clothing line is but two seasons old her quirky handbags have got quite the following! And not just with the literary loving (the Olympia Le-Tan book-cover clutches are her most well-known designs) fash pack, but with the likes of Michelle Williams and Natalie Portman too! Who have both worn Olympia Le-Tan's re-imagined classic book covers on the red carpet.

It's hardly surprising that kitsch fashion lover Anna dello Russo, for example, is a fan of Olympia Le-Tan's fabulously fun aesthetic, however it's certainly no mean feat to have Hollywood darlings teaming the quirky book clutches with their couture!
But it's easy to see why, for life... and fashion for that matter can be far too serious sometimes, and who wouldn't want to add a little humour and spirit to their look? We know we would!
