Style Hunter's Guide To Sucessfully Getting Street Snapped At Fashion Week!
GALLERY >> How To Get Street Snapped
In this week's issue of Grazia, Style Hunter has cracked the code on what makes street style photographers press that shutter. We spent London Fashion Week watching and grilling the big guns to work out exactly what makes them tick. And it’s not all about being totally bonkers in the wardrobe department, you know. You simply need to follow these five street-smart rules below… We've even done the shopping research for you, so you can instantly fashion ed-up your look!
Do the crazy clash up
Make like Sonja Shaolong and do a major mash up. She’s working two geometric prints, an ultra-new ultra-teeny mini skirt – with a split, knee high boots, statement sunnies a kooky Lulu Guinnes bag. The essential ingredient? Bravery.
Be seen in the hot ticket
This week’s hot ticket? J.W. Anderson for Topshop of course! Some FROWers even went to the store opening pre-schedule to get their mitts on it first. Laura Gramson picked up one of the now sold-out favourites, the paisley quilted pencil. Jeals!
Pick a haute new season must-have
The best street style photographers can sniff a new season must have from fifty paces, and this past week has been all about Balenciaga’s distinctive transformer-stylee jumpers, dresses and tees. Annoyingly, they've sold out, like, everywhere. But more should be coming back in to Matches and on Farfetch.com soon!
Get ahead in a hat
Something up top really attracts a street snapper’s lense. Italian blogger and super-stylish chick Eleonora Carisi ticks off this rule twice in one go, with her DSquared baker-boy cap AND purple dip-dyed hair. Full marks.
Find yourself a matchy matchy fashion friend
As the saying goes, two well-dressed fashion eds are better than one! It’s double the trend dip and double the impact in a picture. Take the adorable stylist Elisa Nalin and her perfectly partnered pal.
