Oh, we do love a good snoop through the shopping bags of the rich and famous. So when we found out the lovely Freida Pinto had popped into AllSaints in Notting Hill this weekend, we were all ears. According to our AllSaints sources, the Hollywood actress loved browsing through the Autumn Winter collection (well, obvs) and tried on the Libretto dress (a steal at £125) and Bind beanie (£25) before leaving with a veritible hoard of goodies. Sounds like a happy Sunday to us.
So what was in Freida's shopping bag? Well, we know she bought the brand's Kubrick tote (£195), Biker pencil skirt (£175) and Dash vest (£195). 'AllSaints do really amazing jacket and blazers,' the star exclusively revealed, so it's no surprise she couldn't resist picking up the Belvedere leather jacket for £250. 'It's such a great one!' she trilled. And, ever the considerate girlfriend, Freida took the opportunity to pick up some dapper menswear pieces for her Burberry-FROWing boyfriend, Dev Patel.
So what is it Freida loves about the great British high street? 'It's unlike anything else in the world. British people are very trendy and there is always something for everyone.' She also revealed she can't live without her trusty pair of jeans while her style is most influenced by 'everyday people I see on the street.'
'In particular when I am in Paris, I always feel really inspired by the distinctive Parisian style, the way they layer and put things together makes it look so effortlessly chic.'
And if you've got Mr Lagerfeld on the end of the blower and a spot of AllSaints in your wardrobe, it makes it that much easier.
