Get Involved In The Yellow Trend That Swept The 2012 Emmy Awards Red Carpet

We've seen the Best Dressed stars from last night's Emmy Awards and there really were some showstopping looks - from Michelle Dockery's custom-made Louis Vuitton dress to Sophia Vergara's emerald curve hugging gown. And yes, sweetheart necklines proved to be incredibly popular as did bordeaux and claret colours, but! It was Grazia yellow that was the pick of the night for many A-listers.

Clare Danes looked striking in a Lanvin gown that flattered her ever growing baby bump while Julianne Moore covered up in Christian Dior Couture and Leslie Mann wore a vibrant Naeem Khan floor-sweeper. Kaley Cuoco, star of The Big Bang Theory, wore a canary-hued dress by Angel Sanchez and let's not forget New Girl actress Hannah Simone who opted for an Emilio Pucci stunner in a soft primrose tone.

Of course, we're BIG fans of yellow here at Grazia (for obvious reasons) and this is one colour that doesn't just look good on the red carpet. Working Grazia yellow into your everyday wardrobe is a great way of adding some colour to your look - just ask Solange Knowles and the Duchess of Cambridge.

So whether wearing the bold colour with tonal brights for a head-to-toe look or as an accent colour with a pair of neutral jeans, we've picked our favourite yellow buys for you to shop from...
