My my my Delilah! How our girl crush has grown for this new songstress with the best tresses over the past week. It’s all down to the LFW FROW and the fact that she’s fast become an important and regular fixture on it.
Not only is she ridonkulously pretty, blazing a well-dressed trail (nothing too crazy and attention grabbing, but interesting and individual nonetheless) and super-talented in the vocal chord department, she’s properly nice, too. So we took our moment in the Topshop show-space to chat fash. And you can scroll through the gallery above to see her top LFW ensembles.
Grazia Daily: What are you really into fashion-wise?
Delilah: I have to say I really loved the Unique show just now, I thought it was amazing. A lot of the pieces I will be begging someone to buy me at some point for a show somewhere soon but, yeah, there’s been so many. I really liked KTZ, I really liked the Fashion East show, Willow. There’s been a tonne of things that I’m into.
Would you say you’re quite British with your style?
Yeah definitely, I think I am. Everything has kind of a punky edge to it, when it comes to me, whether it be the rings or the tattoos, I can’t really get away from it. I’m covered in tatts! So, it’s always feminine with a hard edge.
During LFW, what do you rely on to get you through?
People, lots of people. People and water. This has been quite a warm week, so lots of water.
Have you ever made a total fashion faux pas, or can you remember an outfit you wish had never happened… what’s your worst?
I’ve done so many, honestly. I’ve been on tour for about three years so I’ve had a lot of outfit changes in that time and I look back and I’ve made some mistakes but I’ve learned from them so hopefully there won’t be too many more…
Knowing your music, what’s been the best soundtrack so far?
Today’s music at Topshop Unique was really good, it was really loud. I could feel it in my seat. Today was good. KTZ had really cool music as well, and Fashion East.
