Kate Moss On Her Ideal Mulberry Bag & London Fashion Week Highlight: EXCLUSIVE

18 September 2012 by

If you're going to hold up the Mulberry show for anyone, it's Kate Moss. The supermodel squeezed onto the front row thirty minutes after the collection was due to hit the catwalk, with Alexa Chung and Lana Del Rey shuffling aside to make room for her famous derrière. She fabulously air kissed them both a hello and as the show kicked into action and models paraded past with their Mulberry dogs, Kate giggled with Alexa like a couple of super-stylish school girls.

Backstage after the show, Grazia Daily spots Mossy chatting with her hairdressing BFF, James Brown. There's no way we're going to miss the chance to talk to the actual real Kate Moss and so, after a deep breath, we make our way over.

'Excuse me, Kate?' And then we're faced with those glorious cheekbones. 'Yes?' the pouty lips ask. 'Umm, we were wondering, if there was to be a Mulberry Moss bag, what would it look like?'

'This one!' she says excitedly, holding up a black snakeskin clutch adorned with that iconic Mulberry lock. 'I want this one to be the Mulberry Moss bag but it’s not, it’s a Willow. But I love this one because it doubles as a clutch. It’s genius.'

Kate Moss FROWs with Lana Del Rey and Alexa Chung

Considering she's now a pro front row-er as well as a bona fide catwalker, we wanted to know: what's Kate Moss' FROW etiquette? 'I don’t have any!' she giggles. 'I always get it wrong!' And on the catwalk, she must've had many a magic moment - which is her favourite London Fashion Week moment EVER? 'I think me and Naomi [Campbell] walking at Vivienne Westwood.'

Speaking of Naomi, she's just joined Twitter – would Kate consider doing the same? Simply: 'No.' Naomi's also just walked for Zac Posen - will we see Mossy returning to the catwalk too? 'Well, I did Louis Vuitton... I don’t think I'll do it again, but I don’t know... I mean, I never say never. It’s fun to do one occasionally. It’s not like I would want to do London-Milan-Paris like I used to, but it’s fun to do it occasionally.'

Of course, Kate did make a recent cameo in George Michael’s music video for White Light. 'It was amazing,' Kate says. 'It's a dream come true.' And are they really friends? 'Yes! Bessst friends!'
