FROW & Tell With Jessica Ennis At Mulberry: 'I Love Victoria Beckham Dresses!'

Jessica Ennis At Mulberry: 'I Love Victoria Beckham Dresses!' Jessica Ennis At Mulberry: 'I Love Victoria Beckham Dresses!'

Jessica Ennis at Mulberry

After winning gold at the London Olympics, Jessica Ennis has become somewhat of a style star. She's already sported (chuckles) designer clobber from Alexander McQueen and Victoria Beckham and today, the super-toned athlete bagged her first VIP ticket to London Fashion Week to sit alongside the likes of Kate Moss and Alexa Chung. Yep, we bumped into the absolutley radiant Jess at the Mulberry show this morning and grilled her on those fashion credentials...

Grazia Daily: Is this your first ever fashion show?
Jessica Ennis: Yes, this is my first show so I’m really excited. It’s obviously all new to me but it’s great to be coming to the Mulberry show first, so I'm really looking forward to it.

Grazia Daily: Why Mulberry for your first show?
Jessica Ennis: I’ve always been a big fan of Mulberry. It’s a great British brand and it’s nice to come and support a brand like this and be part of this whole new world. I’m loving all the gnomes and everything! It’s just a really new experience but really exciting.

Grazia Daily: If Mulberry were going to make a Jessica Ennis bag, what would it look like?
Jessica Ennis: Oh I don’t know, it would be amazing though! I mean all of the styles of the bags are great, there’s just so much variety, colour… So I’d definitely go for something with a bit of colour but I love the structure. It’d be fun to do though.

Grazia Daily: We loved that Victoria Beckham dress you wore on the Jonathan Ross show.
Jessica Ennis: I’m wearing another Victoria Beckham dress today too! I love her collection and her collection was great at New York Fashion Week. She’s got some amazing pieces so it’s great to be able to wear some of her dresses.

Grazia Daily: Have you met her?
Jessica Ennis: I’ve not actually met her yet, no. With the whole Olympics going on and being so busy, I didn’t have the opportunity to. But hopefully in the future, I’ll meet her. I obviously love her designs so that would be great!
