Pixie Lott And VV Brown Hit The Dance Floor At The PPQ After Party

15 September 2012 by

Marking the first night of London Fashion Week with quite a bang, PPQ founders Amy Molyneaux and Percy Parker celebrated their Spring/ Summer 2013 presentation with a stylish after party. Grazia Daily managed to dodge the queue that wrapped around the block and head inside to mingle with VV Brown, Pixie Lott and Lady Victoria Hervey, in the beautiful surroundings of the Kensington Roof Gardens. PPQ's party had something of an international appeal; Lady Victoria (wearing a bejewelled Dolce & Gabanna frock) was fresh off a plane from L.A., and told us she was 'extremely tired after attending three shows today, but looking forward to attending five on Saturday'. Busy lady!

VV Brown arrived with the obligatory entourage of fashionable friends, including songstress Pixie Lott, and headed straight to the dance floor to get the party. A packed party meant one giant game of musical chairs was in operation, with anyone in a heel over four inches risking their neck every time they dived for a place to cosy up and chat. PPQ's Amy Molyneaux was of course, wearing her own label - she said she it was miles comfier than a tight cocktail dress. Good thinking, that girl - and not to mention, all the better for making some serious shapes in. The party was still going strong when we called it a night, with hoards of people still clamouring to get in outside. Unfortunately for the latecomers, VV Brown & co.'s boogieing meant there'd be no room for extras!

What we drank: Tanqueray London Dry Gin Quatro Cocktails.
What we danced to: Whitney Houston.
Who we spotted: Swedish songstress Karin Park in an amazing tartan number.
