Backstage Soundbite: Cara Delevingne On Her Model Mates & Dressing Like Charlie Chaplin

She's entertained us backstage by turning a camera on the photographers, she's walked for Jason Wu, Donna Karan, Marc Jacobs and Carolina Herrera, and has impressed us with a super-cool outfit each day of New York Fashion Week. We are, of course, talking about Cara Delevingne - the 20-year-old British model everyone's talking about. While she was getting catwalk-ready, Grazia Daily grabbed a chat with the adorable Cara D...

Grazia Daily: Who are your model BFFs when you're in New York?

Cara Delevingne: Jourdan Dunn and Karlie Kloss. Georgia May Jagger has been in town so I've hung out with her this week, but she hasn't been working at the shows.

Grazia Daily: You've been nominated for the Style Icon Award at the British Fashion Awards, but who inspires your style?

Cara Delevingne: Charlie Chaplin! There's just something about him. Also Twiggy, I just love her easy, carefree style. She can throw on anything like a big baggy T-shirt and make it look cool. Somehow she makes cheap look expensive. Also my Godmother, Joan Collins. When I was younger I'd throw on her pearls and dress up, she has a great wardrobe and amazing style.

Grazia Daily: What are your plans for London Fashion Week?

Cara Delevingne: I'm walking for the Burberry show, but everything else is yet to be confirmed. Normally for London, I just walk for Burberry but I'm not sure this season...

Grazia Daily: The costumes you wear in Anna Karenina are pretty different to what you're wearing this week...

Cara Delevingne: I think those costumes will win an Oscar Award because, dude, they were incredible.
