Peaches Geldof Wears Three Dresses To Marry Thomas Cohen, Including Two By Alberta Ferretti And One Dolce & Gabbana Gown

11 September 2012 by

What a difference four years can make, eh! Back in 2008 when Peaches Geldof walked down the aisle with US musician Max Drummey she used the £85 'August Special' wedding package at The Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas and the marriage ended just six months later. Fast-forward to September 2012 and Peaches tied the knot again, but this time she took a little more traditional approach to her nuptials.

The wedding pictures can be found in the latest Hello! magazine

The bride wore not one, but three wedding by Italian designer Alberta Ferretti for her special day which saw the former 'It' girl marry Thomas Cohen, the father of her five-month old son Astala. (Update: @deanpiper tells us that Peaches wore two Alberta Ferretti gowns and one dress by Dolce & Gabbana.) If the TV presenter's Instagram account is anything to go by, Peaches has long since left her partying was behind to settle into motherhood. We reported last week that Sir Bob's daughter left her hen do at a relatively low key 11pm due to exhaustion and she frequently tweets pics of her daily household routine.

So it was only fitting that for her second wedding Peaches should trade in Jack Daniels and Las Vegas for her father's Kent country mansion, designer wedding gowns and seven bridesmaids including her sisters Fifi, 20; Pixie, 21; and Tiger, 16. In an interview with Hello! magazine she revealed: 'I know it might seem old fashioned but I love that Astala will know that his parents are together and have taken the vows we’re taken today. I’ve married the most wonderful man who I know loves me beyond anything, through my faults’.

We imagine there wasn't a dry eye in the house when Sir Bob delivered his father-of-the-bride speech, something he didn't get to do at her first wedding. The day may have been traditional but it wasn't without some quirky touches, including a golden retriever ring-bearer and a wedding cake featuring edible pig characters depicting the story of the couple's romance. Peaches explained, ‘I am obsessed with pigs - I just think they’re adorable so they had to play a part in the wedding’. Of course!
