Rihanna Flaunts Her Latest Tattoo Dedicated To 'Goddess' Grandmother: Eek Or Chic?

If she’s not careful she’ll run out of skin space soon. That’s right, Rihanna has only gone and got herself another tattoo, this time in honour of her late Gran Gran Dolly.

The 24-year-old singer announced to the world that she has had the Egyptian goddess Isis inked (we feel pretty cool using the word inked) under her ribcage on Twitter posting the above image under the caption, ‘'Goddess Isis - Complete Woman - Model for future generations - #GRANGRANDOLLY - always in and on my heart #1love' this weekend.

Rihanna had been incredibly close to her Grandmother regularly posting pictures of her on her twitter account before her tragic death in July following a long battle with cancer and it seems she’s got the tattoo as a lasting reminder of her love for her.

Inspiration? Rihanna went Egyptian for a performance in June

This newest body art joins over 17 others which include a pistol on her ribcage and a falcon on her ankle with Rihanna regularly posting pictures of the new designs on Instagram – along with the rest of her fabulous life.

It’s thought the tattoo was done in a parlour in Soho, London during Ri’s trip to the UK for the Paralympic closing ceremony (did you see it? It was amazing, why are the Olympics over etc) were she performed with Coldplay and Jay-Z. We wonder what she’ll have next?
