Kate Middleton, Alexa Chung Or David Beckham: Who Will YOU Vote British Style Icon At The British Fashion Awards 2012?

Who is the most stylish of them all? That is the question oft debated round these parts. Does Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s street style top Alexa Chung’s school girl coolness? Is Kate Middleton's conservative chic hotter than Daphne Guinness' wacktacular wardrobe? The battle of the Brit trend-setters rages on.

And now you can have YOUR say on the fash war. Yep, it's cast your vote in a proper poll that'll see the most stylish of them all awarded with a much-coveted gong at the British Fashion Awards in November. And it's all decided by you, the Great British Public.

As of this very minute, you decide who deserves to win The British Style Award (sponsored by Vodaphone) at the swanky ceremony, so have a think about ‘the individual who most embodies the spirit of London and is an international ambassador for London as a leading creative fashion capital.’ Launched in 2009, previous winners are Kate Moss and Alexa Chung (who's won twice, no less) so the benchmark is fantastically sky-high.

So who are the nominees? Well, it's a good year for the Royal Family with The Queen, the Duchess of Cambridge AND Prince Charles on the shortlist. Then there's Hollywood Royalty including Tilda Swinton, Carey Mulligan and Helena Bonham Carter. The usual suspects make an appearance too, of course - we're talking to you, Kate Moss and Victoria Beckham.

The chicest of designers are also up for the vote - everyone from Stella McCartney and Anya Hindmarch to Vivienne Westwood and Phoebe Philo. And there are a couple of honorary Brits too including Natalie Massenet and Mrs David Walliams, Lara Stone.

A selection of stylish males also get a mention (and hopefully provide some eye-candy at the event) - namely David Beckham, David Gandy, Henry Holland, Tinie Tempah and Mr Tom Ford.

Oooh it's a toughie! Cast your vote on the British Fashion Council’s website and if there's someone noticeably missing (err, Agyness Deyn anyone?), now's your chance to nominate. Click through the gallery above for the ladies - and dapper gent - we've got our bets on...
