Our J.W Anderson For Topshop Shopping List: What The Grazia Girls Will Be Buying
GALLERY >> The Grazia Shopping List
Earlier today, we brought you an exclusive interview with J.W. Anderson in which the designer dishes on his brand new collection for high-street hero Topshop as well as other important things like what he’d save if his house was burning down and his love for the Antiques Roadshow.
Ever since, us Graziettes have spent the best part of the day drawing up our shopping list in preparation for when the goodies arrive in stores and online on 14th September.
So from those trend-ticking jumpers to the splash of tartan and those fab prints on everything from trousers to skirts, take a look at what's on the Grazia hit list by clicking through the gallery above. And do let us know: what will YOU be buying?
Zebra T-shirt, £29.99
I’m absolutely going to get the Zebra T-Shirt. Think Born Free, Kenyan reserve in the ‘60s. But updated with clashing printed jeans and fierce ankle boots!
- Caroline Ferry, Fashion Assistant
Varsity jacket, £129.99
I want the baseball jacket because I want to feel like I am going out with an All American jock and I have borrowed his jacket.
- Emily Maddick, News Editor
Can I have the striped trousers to give me longer legs? They also remind me of the film Beetlejuice.
- Julia Fernandez, Community Editor
Purple top, £59.99
I love the quilted purple paisley skirt. It’s the perfect addition to my wardrobe for the new season - the rich purple hue and the paisley print are two of the hottest trends to be wearing now.
- Lily-maud Russo, Shopping Editor
Navy T-shirt, £29.99
I'll have the stripey white T –shirt please - you can never go wrong with a Breton stripe.
- Rose Beer, Beauty Writer
Varsity jacket, £29.99
I really want the blue/black varsity jacket. It's perfect to wear with skinny leather pencil skirts now and leather trousers come winter.
- Liz Hambleton, Beauty Director
Wool T-shirt, £29.99
Eeeeep I love all of it! Anything with a bit of a tartan gets me, so I’m definitely after the t-shirt. Perfect with leather, my wardrobe staple for the winter – and oh so cute. (Now, where’s that kilt… )
- Zoe Beaty, Features Writer
Navy dress, £59.99
I want the blue dress which I'll wear as an oversized shirt. I'll team it with a skinny belt and sharp pointy heels for a sexy evening look or Converse pumps and denim shorts for weekend casual-ness.
- Jo Duckworth, Entertainment Assistant
Tortoise skirt, £39.99
'This tortoise skirt has got my name on it! A pair of black opaques and pistol ankle boots will give it extra autumn mileage.'
- Marianne Jones, Deputy Editor
Tartan trousers, £79.99
Tartan is a classic print that makes me feel all preppy-back-to-school-esque. But the wide leg of these trousers brings them bang up to date for the new season. What's not to like?
- Hattie Brett, Assistant Editor
Bat jumper, £69.99
I am totally coveting the bat jumper. It looks so cozy and the monochrome will go with everything in my wardrobe. A perfect AW12 staple!
- Anna Dewhurst, News Picture Editor
Eyes jumper, £69.99
It's ever so slightly sinister, and it reminds me of those vintage Andrew Lloyd Webber Cats musical merch t shirts from the 80s. What one earth is not to like?
- Polly Vernon, Editor At Large
