We were already excited that Net-A-Porter’s brand new Karl stock landed online (Karlouflage anyone?), but when we realised there was the sweetest video EVER on the site to accompany the collection, we were absolutely tickled. May we present, the chat du jour, Choupette!
We know that Karl Lagerfeld’s white fluffy friend, who celebrated her first birthday this month, documents her daily goings-on in a diary – conveniently written by her two maids, as her lack of opposable thumbs make handwriting tricky. And now, Karl and Choupette have let us in on the action, with a video diary from Choupette’s point of view. Cuteness!
The minute-long wonder filmed from Madame Lagerfeld’s eye level (that’s our ankle height) shows her swanning around the photo-shoot for Karl’s new collection, getting her hair done (ridiculous in a very good way), knocking over heels, being petted by various models, and then finally jumping into papa Lagerfeld’s arms for a sweet finale: a smooch from Karl!
