Rihanna is the kind of girl who wears her fashion on her sleeve. From hip street labels to high fashion names, our Rih Rih loves a logo – especially if its emblazoned across a tee or a cap. So we weren’t surprised to see her stepping out in not one, but two logo-ed pieces from cool brand Kenzo. The heritage label founded by Japanese designer Takada Kenzō way back in the 1970s had a major fashion makeover last year as Humberto Leon and Carol Lim – the talented twosome behind the hipster’s favourite boutique, Opening Ceremony and Chloe Sevigny’s BFFs – took over the reins.
Rihanna working a double Kenzo
After two highly acclaimed shows, the Kenzo brand is back on the fashion radar with blogger and FROW Editors rocking the line at fashion week and beyond. Now Rihanna’s double Kenzo look brings the label to a whole new generation of fashion-hungry folks.
Kenzo jumpers £205 from Net-a-Porter.com
So should you too invest in a piece of new season Kenzo? Firstly it’s worth noting that while the tees and knits aren’t exactly cheap, they won’t cost your entire salary – Net a porter has Rihanna’s Eiffel tower logo as a tee for only £70 while a Kenzo logo jumper goes for £205. We say: Fashion Steal.
