Emma Stone Is The Cover Chameleon: Now She Goes Futuristic For Interview Magazine

28 August 2012 by

She’s already a huge star on the red carpet, but Emma Stone has just upped her fashion credentials with an edgy new cover shoot for Interview magazine. The futuristic cover sees the Spiderman star swapping her cute girl-next-door look for slicked-back hair, dramatic make-up and tribal jewellery. Inside, in an amazing shoot with fashion photographer Mikael Jansson, she looks like a female David Bowie trapped on the set of Bladerunner in a series of '80s-inspired poses. This is a good thing, trust us.

As the star of the moment, Emma is no stranger to major magazine covers. Last August, she landed a Vanity Fair cover, which was snapped by legendary photographer Patrick Demarchelier and saw her posing as a '50s-style blonde bombshell in a red and white striped bikini. Hot!

This July she showed a more grown-up and seductive side in a Nina Ricci slip dress on the cover of US Vogue then she showed her fun side for New York Magazine by scoffing a load of candyfloss on thee cover. You can’t say the girl isn’t versatile (check out our fave Ms Stone covers in the gallery above).

But this latest incarnation – showing that she can do fierce just as well as pretty – might be our favourite yet. Inside the magazine, the actress is interviewed by Cameron Crowe, who is directing her in her next film. Emma – who is loved up with Spiderman co-star Andrew Garfield - talks about working with Ryan Gosling, her co-star in Crazy Stupid Love and the upcoming Gangstar Squad. ‘I really like his brain,’ she says. ‘I immediately felt a kinship with him.’

His brain. Yep. That’s why we like him too, Ems.
