Garance Dore, half of the super-blogger power couple behind street-style blog garancedore.fr and The Sartorialist (the blog shot by her boyf Scott Schulman) has been pretty busy of late. Last week we met with her to chat through her collection for NY based brand Kate Spade, and today we’ve been wowed by her shoot for Net-a-porter’s A/W 2012 campaign. Lensed by the great Patrick Demarchelier, Garance works a Stella McCartney A/W 2012 dress, shoes by Pierre Hardy and bag by Victoria Beckham – quite the style maven.

And Garance was clearly as excited to be part of the campaign describing the shoot on her blog:
“It’s the kind of stuff that happens only once in your life, that you get that call : ‘Hi, would you be interested in modelling for our fall-winter 2012 campaign?’ Sorry, you mean, your campaign, campaign? ‘Yes, Patrick Demarchelier is the photographer.’
“Fast forward a few weeks later, here we are, Patriiiiiiiick and I, talking about vacation. The wonderful stylist Ludivine Poiblanc is pep-talking me, “but of course, you will fit in that dress” and Kate Young and Amanda de Cadenet, the two other models of the campaign (two great and totally bad ass girls as Em, my assistant says – I am so proud to have been chosen amongst them!) are getting prepared.” Sweet!
Of all the bloggers turned campaign stars we’ve seen – Elin Kling for H&M, Susie Bubble for Gap or Bip Ling for Forever 21, we have to say that Garance is by far our favourite. Talk about Girl Crush!
