I recently visited 'The Leeds kitchen' which is a restaurant inside the Alea Casino housed on the fashionable Clarence Dock Leeds . It is run by the celebrity chef James Martin.

Although there is a full menu listing to choose from. I opted to try the six course taster menu, natch. Delicious!

Like so many girls, I absolutely LOVE shopping.  I actually find the large TK Maxx store located on the Headrow always surprises with some great pieces - and as the store is so large it always has new lines coming through. This month I picked up two items that I absolutely love, the first is a faux fur bag (very AW12) and secondly I found this amazing cardigan that fuels my leopard print addiction.

I love the nightlife in Leeds and I definitely enjoy a cocktail in the restaurant quarter, centred in Greek Street. I had the best cosmo at Prohibition – hence why I got half way through the drink before taking a picture…

Back to shopping. I also like to hit the vintage stores in Leeds - Blue Rinse and Best Vintage are some of the best in the city centre. One of my favourite pieces that I found is this gold, embossed peacock belt. I really do love discovering unique pieces!
