"Vintage Fairs in Sheffield always attract a huge turn out, and are arguably the best places to pick up clothes and accessories no-one else has. Lots of the stalls are owned by innovative fashion lovers who customise their stock for a more individual feel, and there's usually an area devoted to tea and cake after a shopping session!" "When I first moved to Sheffield, I soon learned that like many other cities with large student populations, it has a great nightlife, and there are some fab places to have a bit of a boogie. One of my fave hangouts is The Forum, which serves yummy cocktails, and in the evenings resident DJs play to a packed audience."

"Another great place to shop for an individual look is A New Shop on Division Street. My favourite section is (of course) the shoes! Sheffield's style is pretty laid back, vintage, and androgynous, so these second hand Docs are absolute bargains to get the look."

"The thing I like most about Sheffield is how friendly and approachable people here are. Shopkeepers and people on the street always have time for you, a smile and chit chat. That might not be a reason to visit on its own, but along with everything else Sheffield offers, hospitality is definitely a bonus."
