House Of Holland Kidswear? Henry Holland To Design A Wardrobe For Pixie Geldof's Baby

20 August 2012 by

We’re well overdue a new designer kidswear range, and now it seems like we might have a new one to look forward to courtesy of Henry Holland’s label, House of Holland! But: it is dependent on whether or not Pixie Geldof gets pregnant any time soon. No pressure then, Miss G!

The designer spoke to the Daily Mail and revealed that should his best friend Pixie have a child, he would make a move into kiddie clothes. ‘If Pixie has a baby that child would only be allowed to wear Henry Holland,’ he said. How exciting would that be?

Now that we think about it, House of Holland is probably one of the most appropriate designer labels to lend itself to kidswear. Henry’s bold use of prints, patent and shiny fabrics (great for finger painting in, potensh) and ‘90s-style printed denim and dungarees… Sounds exactly like the wardrobes of our youth!

Henry went on to say, 'It would be fun to do more for kids – I could have fun with the slogans.' Indeed he could! And considering there's already a doggy jacket in his collection, it seems like the natural next step.

So we’ve spent the morning trawling through his collections for an idea of what we could expect to see should he take the plunge into the cutesy world of kidswear. Take a flick through the gallery above and just imagine how fab these designs would look in miniature.

Mothers everywhere are waiting with baited breath...
