Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's Fashion Takeover Continues With Kimye Footwear

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's very public relationship continues. First it was the matching outfits and co-ordinating pillowcases then came the confessions on Oprah. Now rumours have emerged that Kimye are working on a potential shoe brand that they are designing TOGETHER. Gasp!

It was only last week that Kim tweeted a shot of her modelling Kanye's recognisable booties that he knocked up for Giuseppe Zanotti [below]. THEN the couple met Mr. Luxury Brands himself, PPR CEO François-Henri Pinault, adding fuel to the whispers. A Kardashian-Kanye Kollection mash-up of fluffy ankle boots, nude patent, and most definitely, platform soles? This could be amazing.

Now an interview with Kim has been published on The Cut in which the reality TV star reveals how the couple's common interest in fashion has brought them even closer. “If I have a design meeting, or he has one, we come back and talk about how our meetings went. It’s cool, ’cause you can definitely get more in-depth with someone who actually knows what you’re talking about. When it’s just the two of us sitting somewhere when we’re 80, you want to have things to talk about that you have in common.” Aw, sweet! Perhaps they really are a match made in fashion heaven?

And slightly off topic but equally gripping: have you ever dreamed of being a fly on the wall during a Kimye phone conversation? Yep, us too. Well, luckily for us, the profile in The Cut conveniently took place during a leisurely day at the Zoo (uh-huh) when Kimmy K recieved a phone call from the Gold Digger singer and it went a little something like this...

“Hello? Hey. Just leaving the zoo. I’m finished with my shoot and I’m just finishing up. I’m heading actually to your place right now. Where are you? Okay. So maybe I’ll go in and change and then I’ll eat … What time is that at? Seven? Will you be done? … Okay, so, that’s an hour. So I’ll just wait at the place. Will you come get me? Okay, well, I don’t have a car. Do you want me to just take a cab? Or can your car come get me first? … Where is ‘up here’? Is it far? Okay, well, um, maybe—Okay, bye. Love you, too. Bye.”

They might be oversharing but We. Can. Not. Get. Enough.
