Designers Dish On Dressing The Supermodel Army - Kate Moss! Naomi Campbell! Lily Cole! - For Olympics Closing Ceremony

As you may have noticed, the London Olympics 2012 closed with a bang last night thanks to an explosion of culture and music in homage to all things British.
Brit fashion got an extra special moment in the spotlight as a nine-strong squad of our finest superstar supermodels took to the stage in a moment of pure gold. Each one paraded through the Olympic Stadium while swathed in gleaming gowns designed by our finest homegrown talent.
From seasoned pros Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell in Alexander McQueen to model-of-the-moment Georgia May Jagger showcasing a Victoria Beckham frock and David Gandy representing the men in a dapper Paul Smith suit, the catwalkers appeared from behind black and white billboards and proceeded to Strut. Their. Stuff. Sadly Rosie Huntington-Whiteley didn't make an appearance as expected but what a treat to see Karen Elson in our fair capital, eh?
So the three-minute interlude might have garnered mixed reviews but it was none the less fabulous despite being fleeting. It sure did Brit fash proud.
