She's the golden girl of the Olympics 2012 who spent six hours six days a week training for that glorious win, so it's no surprise Jessica Ennis is ready to let her hair down - or indeed scrape it into a ladylike side bun.
The athlete ditched her Stella McCartney-designed sports kit when she hit London town at Omega House last night, donning a gorgeously girlie coral pink dress accented by a black belt and matching heels. But this isn't any old frock, oh no. This full-skirted number comes courtesy of the fash-tastic Alexander McQueen, which Jess topped off with a Mulberry bag. Hmm, did she pick up a few style tips from McQueen and Mulberry fan Kate Middleton when the pair met last week we wonder?

Jessica's glam-over's certainly won our seal of approval. Grazia Daily was lucky enough to grab a chat with the gold medal winner yesterday when she told us she's looking forward to going on a mammoth shopping spree to celebrate her win. A girl after our own hearts! 'I’m definitely going to treat myself to something nice,' she exclusively revealed. 'I’m looking forward to going shopping and splashing out on a nice bag or nice shoes, or some clothes… a bit of everything really!
'I like high street shops like French Connection and Reiss, but I love going to Selfridges – I could spend a whole day there! I love Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney and Victoria Beckham. There are just so many gorgeous things out there at the moment and I’m looking forward to having a good look and treating myself.'
And Lord knows she deserves it.

UPDATE: Our McQueen pals tell us Jess' dress comes from the Brit brand's Spring Summer 2012 collection. It is a signature McQueen silhouette so although this particular style isn’t in-store currently, similar styles are available from www.alexandermcqueen.com. Go, fash fans, GO!
