Alice Temperley Designed Jacquetta Wheeler's Wedding Dress!

01 August 2012 by

We're pretty certain that model Jacquetta Wheeler has been hanging around Grazia HQ as she seems to have just had our dream wedding. The 30-year-old married her banker boyf James Allsop at the weekend at her family home in Kent. Sounds pretty standard right? Oops, we failed to mention that her family home is A CASTLE!

Bride, Jacquetta wore a dress designed for her by Alice Temperley. Temperley says that Jacquetta "wanted a really soft, delicate dress” and so created a form fitting lace trimmed number with a clasic bodice. It was teamed with a bolero and matching floor length veil designed with a motif of dog roses, forget-me-nots and Temperley's addition of the "wheeler wheels". (She scratched them into the castle ceiling too blatez.)

Appaz James and Jacquetta had an uber cute service at the church across the road and then sauntered back across a village square with flower girls and a casual white horse. Flowers in the chruch and Jacquetta's bouquet included delphiniums and white stock by florist Scarlet & Violet.

The couple had a wedding breakfast of champagne, Moroccan mint tea and cakes (just too quaint!) before a Fred and Ginger style first dance to “Cheek to Cheek”. Then, after dinne, night time antics included a disco with a checkerboard dancefloor. Plus there were just a few casual fireworks created by Michael Lakin who did the Jubilee pyrotechnics at Buckingham Palace. So all-in-all it was a casual affair..
