Enjoying the Olympic horse jumping on your tellybox right now? Us too. It’s so elegant, so classy, so prancy, (basically everything fashionistas LOVE).
Our only sadness is that a certain lady is not competing. Grazia Daily has been drooling at the prospect of Gucci model/muse Charlotte Casiraghi’s bespoke luxury Olympics kit for months now, so when we finally worked out she wasn’t a competitor, we were a little bit (a lot) heartbroken.
Ah, but the fashion gods have shown mercy on us and lo and behold, this morning the mighty Gucci has released its second campaign image (above) featuring the Monaco princess herself.
What we love most about this pic is the casual just-lolling-around-my-palace vibe. Oh, and those Signature Gucci Loafers, which btw, we’re all about to go absolutely mental for (Autumn/Winter 2012 is set to be very loafery indeed; expect an outbreak of horsebit-itis any day now).
Meanwhile, the simple silk shirt and rolled up jeans perfectly tie-in with the campaign’s ‘Forever Now’ theme; so much so that it’s hard not to draw comparisons with the iconic 1950’s classic style of Charlotte’s grandmother Grace Kelly.
CC has been signed up by the luxury label to be shot for four portraits by four different photographers. The latest image is by duo Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin.
Back in March, the ridiculously beautiful royal debuted in the campaign in an image (above) shot by Peter Lindbergh, wearing a simple but somehow ultra-sophisticated ensemble of white shirt, black trousers and black leather loafers. WIN.
