We all know James Franco is a HOT actor but did you know he's a director as well a Playboy columnist, PhD student, and painter. What a talented chap! Most recently, Franco has turned his multi-faceted to hand to creating a super-cool video for 7 For All Mankind's Autumn Winter 2012 campaign, bringing his A-list talents to the brand's California spirit. And guess what? You lucky lot have been treated to an exclusive first look at the footage.
Beginning in a desolate cemetery and ending up at a classic movie theatre covered in red paint, the cast of sexy young things (including Lily Donaldson and and Lou Doillon, no less) have a whale of a time frolicking around Los Angeles in front of Franco's lens. And don't they look fab showcasing the brand's high-shine metallics, sexy snake skin prints and leather-like denim? We say yes. The behind-the-scenes preview of the film sees James in Director Mode, passionatley zipping around with an array of cameras and sporting a fetching range of hats. At one point, he screams 'We will kill them!' but err, we're not sure why.
“The big thing I am trying to access is memory and how we deal with memory, what that means, how we remember people and who creates the lasting images of people.
We all have our connections to people who we admire and it’s my own way of examining my own connections,” says James.
